Warranty
We offer one of the best warranties in the prefab cabin industry, with a 1-year craftsmanship warranty and a 10-year structural warranty. This warranty is fully transferable, so if you sell your cabin, the new owner will continue to benefit from the remaining warranty period.
Our warranty specifically covers our certified modular cabins, such as the Gatlinburg. It does not extend to our Old Order Amish-built cabins, like Big Bertha, because the Old Order Amish do not build in certified facilities and cannot travel more than 20 miles from their villages. Due to these restrictions, we are unable to provide a nationwide warranty or service for these cabins. However, it's important to note that the Old Order Amish cabins are built with exceptional craftsmanship. They are designed to be as low-maintenance as possible and are known for their structural integrity and durability.
A comprehensive copy of our warranty is available from our sales experts, and each cabin purchase includes a Home Warranty Binder. This binder contains the Amish Built Cabins warranty and any additional warranties related to items installed by certified contractors or manufactured by other companies, such as flooring, windows, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical work performed by licensed professionals.
We believe in being upfront and transparent about what our warranty covers. We clearly outline what is included and what is not, so you always know what to expect. We understand that manufacturing and transporting a structure can lead to service issues, and we take full responsibility for addressing any concerns that arise under our warranty. However, site preparation is crucial to preventing problems. Many service calls result from inadequate pad preparation, leading to leveling, flooring, and plumbing issues. To prevent such issues, we strongly recommend obtaining an engineered foundation plan and hiring a licensed contractor for site preparation. Please note that leveling issues and related damages are not covered under the builder warranty.
