Cabin Buying Process
Its best to call us at (502) 298-8946 when you are ready to order so we get it right the first time around but here is the basic process of how the purchase process all comes together;
At Amish Built Cabins, we've made purchasing your dream cabin as easy and straightforward as possible. Here's how it works:
**Step 1 – Find Your Plan:** Work with our design specialists to find a cabin floor plan that suits your needs. We offer a wide variety of sizes and styles in our prefab cabin collection, ensuring there's something for everyone. This is the point where you put 25% down to lock in your price and get into the design cue.
**Step 2 – Customize Your Cabin:** Choose from a range of customization options for your cabin, including flooring, countertops, cabinets, insulation, exterior colors, AC/Heating units, exterior siding, and more. Your cabin can be tailored to your preferences, making it truly unique.
**Step 3 – Purchase Your Cabin:** Once you've made your selections, it's time to finalize your cabin choices and contract. Our sales team will guide you through the purchasing process, providing all the details you need to prepare your site for installation. This is the part you put down your 2nd, 25% downpayment to begin the build process.
**Step 4 – We Build Your Cabin:** While you’re preparing your cabin site, we’ll get to work building your cabin. For our modern modular cabins, such as the Craftsman, the Country Rancher and the Wolf Lodge , this process typically takes 18 to 20 weeks. However, lead times for our Old Order Amish-built cabins, like Big Bertha, range from 5 to 7 months. This is due to the high demand and the handcrafted nature of their construction. Regardless of the type, our 101 Inspection Checklist ensures a worry-free build process. During this time, our Customer Care team will keep you updated on the progress, letting you know if we're ahead of schedule, on schedule, or slightly behind. Timing your site preparation with the cabin's completion is crucial, and we're here to guide you every step of the way.
**Step 5 – Delivery of Your Cabin:** As your prefab cabin nears completion, our Customer Care team will contact you to verify that your site is ready and to coordinate the delivery and final payment. Once everything is in place and your final payment is received, we'll deliver your new cabin to your property! This is the part where you pay your final 50% payment for your cabin plus whatever is owed for your delivery and installation of your cabin BEFORE we hit the road to come to you. Once this is paid we hit the road and come to deliver and install your cabin! Easy, peasy, lemon squeeze as they say and you'll have a brand new cabin on your land!
